Position Overview
We’re looking for a hands-on, dynamic leader who’s passionate about student housing and thrives on driving leasing performance. The Manager of New Development & National Leasing Specialist supports new development and leasing teams across multiple markets, providing on-the-ground leadership, training, and operational excellence. This role offers extensive travel opportunities and the chance to make a direct impact on University Partners’ national portfolio.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and support leasing teams, offering training, guidance, and mentorship.
- Drive leasing performance through tours, lead follow-ups, lease execution, and renewals.
- Support marketing initiatives and events that enhance prospect engagement and resident satisfaction.
- Cultivate partnerships with local businesses, schools, and community stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and property performance to inform strategies.
- Ensure model units, clubhouses, and tour routes maintain top-tier presentation standards.
- Provide flexible operational support to properties during high-demand periods or transitions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field preferred (high school diploma required).
- 1–3 years of experience in leasing, property management, or related field; experience across multiple properties and markets strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Experience with Entrata software preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
