Part - Time Shuttle Driver

JOB PURPOSE:

The Shuttle Driver is responsible for daily shuttle transportation for the community. Shuttle Driver is also responsible for the calendar upkeep of shuttles need for the community in a manner consistent with the property’s operational objectives under the supervision of the Community Manager.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Will always include those specifically assigned by the immediate supervisor

· Responsible for the shuttle routes from community to required locations on a daily basis

· Creating and upkeep of daily shuttle schedule

· Communicating general maintenance, cleaning, etc. items to the Community Manager

· Daily logs as required by Community Manager

· Report any observed violations of community rules and regulations to Community Manager

· Utilize property resources, equipment and supplies economically

· Perform additional tasks and responsibilities requested by Community Manager

· Manage excellent customer service and monitor service request turnaround and responsiveness

· Projects a favorable image of the community to achieve property objectives and public recognition

· Ensure consistency in dealing with residents on all matters

· Enforce policies of the community that are delegated by immediate supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

· High degree of neatness and respect for property and landscape combined with a willingness and desire to learn.

· Able to understand cleaning solution labels and use as instructed.

· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.

· Ability to write simple correspondence.

· Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations

to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

· Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.

· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.

· Professional and energetic demeanor resulting from previous landscape, maintenance, or housekeeping experience

· Good customer service skills

· Good communication and listening skills

· Able to be an effective team player and interact well with others

· Organized and detail-oriented

· Patient, even-tempered and works well under pressure

· Effective time management skills

· Able to maintain confidentiality

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 · High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements
